About TejaraTejara is the American Arab Chamber of Commerce’s innovation and entrepreneurship hub. It serves founders, small businesses, and emerging leaders through programming, cohorts, events, and partnerships designed to drive economic growth and opportunity.
The Program Associate plays a key role in executing Tejara’s programs and ensuring day-to-day operations, reporting, and engagement run smoothly.
Position SummaryThe Program Associate – Tejara is a full-time, in-person role responsible for supporting and coordinating Tejara’s programming, events, cohorts, and reporting requirements. This position works closely with internal Chamber staff, partners, and participants to ensure programs are well-organized, outcomes are tracked, and deliverables are met.
This role is ideal for someone with nonprofit experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Cohort Coordination
- Manage logistics and coordination for Tejara cohort sessions, workshops, and programming
- Support facilitators, speakers, and partners before, during, and after sessions
- Track attendance, participation, and program milestones
- Assist with onboarding and ongoing communication with cohort participants
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and support Tejara events, including workshops, networking events, and public-facing programs
- Coordinate schedules, venues, vendors, materials, and day-of logistics
- Support event setup, execution, and post-event follow-up
Grant Reporting & Impact Measurement
- Assist with grant reporting requirements, including data collection and documentation
- Track program outputs and outcomes to support impact measurement
- Help prepare internal and external reports related to program performance and funder requirements
Data, CRM & Internal Reporting
- Maintain accurate program and participant data in CRM systems (Hub Spot experience preferred)
- Support internal reporting using Asana dashboards and other tracking tools
- Ensure data is organized, up to date, and ready for leadership review
Communications & Engagement (Plus)
- Support basic program communications, including email outreach and participant updates
- Assist with social media content or promotion related to Tejara programs and events (a plus, not required)
- Coordinate with internal staff to ensure consistent messaging
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
- Strong background in event planning or program coordination
- Experience with grant reporting, data tracking, or impact measurement preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Hub Spot strongly preferred)
- Experience using project management tools such as Asana
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full-time, in-person position based at Tejara
- Some evening or occasional weekend availability may be required for events
- Collaborative, fast-paced environment with room to grow
- Salary range: $55,000–$60,000, depending on experience

Employment Status:
