Maintenance Technician

Interact with Crew Supervisor and Manufacturing Specialists to assess requirements and provide needed materials and direction for the purpose of assisting employees to safely maintain equipment to make product that meets the Customer’s expectations at levels of productivity that meet or exceed the established plan. Openings on 2nd and 3rd Shifts.

• Notify Maintenance Team Leader, Production Team Leader or Operator when tasks are completed and tested ready for production.
• Rotate/assist with other Maintenance Specialists as directed to support time management.
• Communicate within Maintenance Teams by completing work orders and PMs.
• Assist with planned changes to minimize disruption at required operations. Responsible for assigned maintenance work orders and PMs completion by entering into CMMS.
• Maintain equipment, facility and property.
• Assist with maintenance activities supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a preventative maintenance program.
• Assist engineering and quality groups in ensuring reliability and capability of production equipment and supporting systems.
• Assist the ongoing training efforts of the maintenance organization to ensure that skill level meets demand of existing and emerging technologies by sharing knowledge of activities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED (Associate Degree in Applied Science in Electronic, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Automated Manufacturing or Electrical preferred) or equivalent work experience in a Maintenance Technician role.
• Two (2) years of experience in maintenance/manufacturing operations (4 years preferred).
• Working knowledge of compacting, forging, deflash, double disk grind, shot peen, white light inspection, video ink jet, magnetic particle inspection and dip tank operation preferred.
• Allen Bradley system controls expertise preferred.
