We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President to lead our clients US operations and drive aggressive growth in the world’s largest robotics and automation market. This executive will be responsible for crafting and executing the national business strategy, encompassing sales, marketing, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of scaling industrial technology businesses, building high-performance teams, and establishing a dominant market presence.
This role is pivotal to achieving market leadership ambitions in the US.
- Strategic Leadership & P&L Management: Develop and implement the comprehensive US business strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives. Own P&L responsibility for the US region.
- Revenue Growth & Market Expansion: Drive all sales activities, including direct sales, key account management, and channel partner development. Identify and penetrate new vertical markets and applications to expand customer base.
- Team Building & Organizational Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-caliber team across sales, applications engineering, service, and administrative functions. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
- Customer & Partner Ecosystem: Serve as the ultimate point of escalation for key customers and strategic partners.
- Market Positioning & Brand Development: Collaborate with global marketing to tailor and execute powerful marketing and branding initiatives for the US market. Position the company as a premier technology and solutions provider.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to represent US market needs and influence product roadmap and service offerings.
- Industry Advocacy: Represent the company at major industry events, trade associations, and with key media to enhance thought leadership and market visibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the industrial automation or robotics
, with at least 10 years in a senior executive role overseeing US operations. - Demonstrated success in building and leading a national business unit with full P&L accountability in a B2B technology environment.
- Deep existing network and proven track record of selling complex, high-value solutions into manufacturing sectors such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, and general industry.
- Exceptional ability to develop and execute strategic business plans that result in significant revenue growth and market penetration.
- Strong experience in building and managing high-performing teams and a multi-tiered channel partner network.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) throughout the United States.
