We’re hiring a Production & Fulfillment Manager to lead our grow operations, fulfillment workflows, and controlled environment agriculture (CEA) systems. This person will be responsible for driving execution, efficiency, and throughput across the business.
You’ll take the lead on daily production, crop scheduling, shipping, and inventory accuracy, while also implementing automation projects like CEA infrastructure and inventory tracking tools. This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires strong systems thinking, people management, and process execution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coach the Grow Team and Fulfillment Team
- Own crop planning, scheduling, propagation to sale timelines, and replenishment forecasting
- Oversee daily fulfillment, ensuring speed, accuracy, and quality in shipping
- Lead implementation of CEA systems and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
- Track and report department KPIs including throughput, labor, shrink, and packaging cost
- Build, maintain, and audit SOPs across production and fulfillment
- Reduce manual labor through automation and packaging improvements
- Ensure inventory accuracy across platforms and conduct weekly variance checks
- Maintain standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness
- Proven operations leader with experience in production, fulfillment, or greenhouse management
- Strong track record of implementing automation or CEA systems that improved labor efficiency
- Detail oriented and process driven with a bias toward clean execution
- Strong people management and accountability skills
- Comfortable working hands‑on in a high growth and fast paced entrepreneurial environment
- Familiar with plant care, crop cycles, or propagation timelines a plus
- Experience with CEA tools, automation, inventory systems, or ERP software preferred
- EOS familiarity including Level 10s scorecards, and Rocks is a plus
- Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 depending on experience
- Up to 10 percent annual performance bonus tied to KPI achievement
