Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for employees, visitors, and customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows cleaning standards, and contributes to a positive and professional workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, breakrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages
- Follow all company safety, sanitation, and security procedures
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled (e.g., waxing floors, carpet cleaning)
- 3 years prior experience required
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to follow safety and cleaning protocols
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Background check may be required
- Indoor and outdoor industrial setting
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals (PPE provided)
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
