We invite you to join Harvard Maintenance, the largest family‑owned provider of premier commercial janitorial and security services in the United States. As a Janitorial Cleaner for the Recreation Room, you will support evening, weekend, and holiday events by setting up, operating, and breaking down event spaces, ensuring cleanliness and readiness throughout the event.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, arranging tables, chairs, decorations, and other necessary equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization during events, managing waste disposal and cleaning spills or debris as needed.
• Keep bathrooms, hallways, and common areas clean and orderly.
• Replenish supplies (napkins, water bottles, hand sanitizers, etc.) in event spaces.
• Monitor event spaces and address cleaning or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, handling waste materials per company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or damage to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with event or venue support tasks as required.
• Handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and capacity to work quickly under pressure.
• Communicate effectively and work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Commit to flexibility, working evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.

Flexible hours with evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Full‑time or part‑time opportunities available depending on event needs. Sample shift: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

• Preferred experience in event or venue support roles.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.
