Job Description
Gross and Company is conducting multiple Metro‑Detroit area Personal Injury Law Firm client searches for skilled Personal Injury Trial Attorneys
. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of litigating and trying personal injury cases, handling all phases of litigation, and achieving successful outcomes for clients.
- Simultaneously manage multiple client cases, ensuring timely and effective progression through all stages of litigation.
- Conduct detailed case investigations, legal research, and discovery to develop winning litigation strategies.
- Depose parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses, and prepare for expert testimony.
- Represent clients in court, including motion hearings, settlement conferences, mediations, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements to secure the best outcomes for clients while preparing cases for trial if necessary.
- Draft and argue motions, including summary judgment motions and pre‑trial motions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing compassionate and effective legal counsel.
- Collaborate with legal teams, including paralegals and other attorneys, to ensure the highest standard of case preparation and client service.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Michigan.
- Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on personal injury law.
- Demonstrated success as first‑chair trial counsel, including jury trial experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of personal injury law, including liability, damages, and insurance issues.
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with medical and financial experts to support case development.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional results and achieving justice for clients.
- Competitive salary based on experience. $150,000 to $250,000 plus significant success bonus potential.
