Work Schedule:

Ally designates roles as (1) fully on‑site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week, as indicated by your manager. Opportunity

Evaluate risks according to location, physical and moral hazards, underwriting guidelines, and loss experience in order to accept, decline, or modify submissions. Assess risk characteristics, inspection reports, producer information, and loss experience of individual accounts within your assigned territory.

The Work Itself
  • Serve as a consultant to Producers, customer service, and claims personnel as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Producers to place insurance coverage within Ally’s DOL program(s).
  • Submit complex or unusual risks or exposures, and risks exceeding underwriting authority levels, to appropriate parties for approval.
  • Manage accounts or territories with complex or catastrophic risk profiles.
  • Perform technical tasks and analysis required to support ongoing business operations.
  • Articulate and present account risk analysis and underwriting recommendations; collaborate with multiple teams to develop specialized proposals.
The Skills You Bring
  • 1+ year of experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of underwriting experience, with a focus on physical damage insurance underwriting preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) required.

Base Pay Range
: $55,000 - $95,000 USD (determined by role, scope, responsibilities, experience, education, and market conditions).

Incentive Compensation
