IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer
The IT Project Scheduler is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining detailed schedules for complex IT projects. The role works closely with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to define project activities, timelines, dependencies, and milestones while ensuring alignment with overall project goals and organizational standards.
Key responsibilities include developing and updating schedules using Primavera P6, tracking project progress, analyzing schedule performance, identifying risks or delays impacting the critical path, and providing status reports. The role also supports resource planning, facilitates schedule review meetings, and maintains documentation related to schedule baselines and changes while ensuring adherence to PMO governance and scheduling methodologies.
Candidates typically have 2–5+ years of project scheduling experience supporting IT initiatives such as software deployments, infrastructure upgrades, system integrations, or network implementations. Experience with Primavera P6, strong knowledge of project management principles, critical path analysis, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools are required. Familiarity with tools like MS Project, Jira, or Service Now and experience in PMO or Agile/Waterfall environments are considered advantageous.
