Database Administrator, Data Engineer

Responsibilities- Develop and implement database architecture and best practices
- Execute upgrades and migrations for database systems
- Offer operational support including database monitoring, tuning, and management
- Design and implement logical and physical database structures
- Perform regular maintenance activities such as backups, restores, and database expansions
- Collaborate with application teams to modify schemas as needed
- Provide solutions for high priority database-related issues
- Strong expertise in Sybase database administration
- Proficiency in managing Oracle or SQL databases
- Experience with database design and implementation
- Skilled in performing database monitoring, backup, and restoration procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve critical database issues
- Previous experience in database upgrades and migrations
- Familiarity with infrastructure roles and responsibilities
- Capability to work effectively within a team environment
- Prior experience in onsite database management is beneficial

The pay range for this role is $36 - $70 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
