Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Service Now Platform Administrator to support the development, administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of a Service Now platform within a hybrid enterprise environment. This role is hands-on and ideal for a Service Now professional who enjoys both operational support and platform enhancement, while partnering closely with business and IT stakeholders.
You will play a key role in maintaining core ITSM processes, improving workflows, and driving continuous improvement through new Service Now capabilities and best practices.
Key Responsibilities Service Now Platform Administration & Development- Administer, configure, and maintain the Service Now platform across multiple modules
- Support and enhance ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Discovery, Asset Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Service Portal, and Performance Analytics
- Perform hands-on development, configuration, testing, and deployment activities
- Gather and analyze requirements from business and technical stakeholders
- Design and implement workflows, forms, integrations, reports, and dashboards
- Support platform upgrades, new feature adoption, and ongoing enhancements
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and data integrity
- Partner with users and technical teams to improve processes and user experience
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and knowledge articles
- Provide guidance and support to end users as needed
- Stay current with new Service Now features, releases, and best practices
- Proactively recommend improvements to platform capabilities and service delivery
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and developing within Service Now
- Strong experience across core ITSM modules
- Solid understanding of Service Now workflows, scripting, reporting, and dashboards
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience integrating Service Now with enterprise tools and platforms
- Familiarity with MS 365 services and .NET environments
- Experience supporting large or complex enterprise Service Now implementations
