Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP BTP-Integration Suite Consultant.
As a Principal Consultant you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations. You will plan configuration activities, configure the product according to the design, conduct conference‑room pilots, and assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design. Additionally, you will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates that align with customer budgetary requirements and the organization’s financial guidelines.
You will also support knowledge transfer to provide value‑adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet evolving industry needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
- At least 11 years of experience in information technology.
- Travel to client locations may be required.

- At least 11 years of experience in SAP middleware integration, including SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with 8–10 Integration Implementation projects using SAP Integration Suite.
- Architecture and solution design experience: analysis of integration requirements with customers and IT colleagues.
- Support and influence SAP integration, API, and data‑flow architectures with an API‑first approach.
- Identify processing and performance optimization opportunities.
- Proactive evaluation of new SAP features in Integration Suite (e.g., Integration Advisor, Trading Partner Management).
- Deep understanding of SAP functional areas and overall SAP architecture.
- Subject‑matter expertise in SAP integration and experience designing and implementing complex scenarios with various integration patterns and protocols.
- Proficiency in designing enterprise‑grade integration flows for SAP and non‑SAP systems (A2A and B2B, asynchronous and synchronous).
- Experience with integration patterns such as Content‑Based Routing, Scatter‑Gather, Splitter.
- Familiarity with adapters: HTTP, IDOC, JDBC, File, SOAP, REST, OData, Graph, etc.
- Expertise in message mapping (message mapping, XSLT mapping, Groovy scripts) and exception handling.
- Knowledge of quality‑of‑service concepts (Guaranteed Delivery, retry, idempotent receiver).
- Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills for integration solutions.
- Experience with API management (creating API providers, policies, products).
- Understanding of API authorization, authentication, access control, and policies.
- Experience with event‑driven integrations using Event Mesh.
- Knowledge of Integration Advisor, Trading Partner Management, and upgrade/migration projects with SAP Cloud Integration.
- Comfortable creating integration design blueprints for complex projects.
- Relevant SAP certifications and experience with SAP BTP Neo CPI version and S/4
HANA on‑cloud deployments. - Leadership experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely across functional teams.
- Self‑starter, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

- For candidates based in Washington, DC: estimated annual compensation $106,000 to $147,500.
