A Jr. Network Administrator job in Detroit, MI is available courtesy of Akkodis. This position will be responsible for providing network and technical support for the network servers and infrastructure. This role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams to address challenges and develop solutions. The candidate will also play a key role in promoting compliance and driving change initiatives to enhance the reliability and security of infrastructure services.
Pay: $40/hour to $49/hour – depending on experience
Network Administrator Responsibilities- Primary responsibilities include network administration and troubleshooting for Layer 1 & 2 switching
- Problem tracking, management, and resolution of issues in a 24/7 manufacturing location
- This position works extensively with the virtual Refining IT Network team as well as Corporate Enterprise Network Services; solid communication skills and strong adherence to company standard practices are required
- Daily activities may also include network device backup administration, performance tuning, change control administration, network security detection administration, formulating continuous improvement opportunities, and self‑auditing to ensure compliance with standards.
- Bachelor таго in computer science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent related experience recommended but not required.
- 1+ years of relevant experience required.
- Experience with Cisco devices – any Cisco certs are preferred but not required.
- Experience with Arista devices is a plus.
- May have very minimal travel.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $49.00 per hour
