SUMMARY

A leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) is seeking a highly autonomous and technically proficient Senior Consultant to serve as a primary subject matter expert across a diverse client portfolio. This pivotal role involves executing high-level design, implementation, and critical infrastructure troubleshooting, specifically within complex LAN/WAN environments and core Microsoft-centric ecosystems. The successful candidate will leverage deep technical expertise to operate independently in the field, ensuring client operational efficiency and business continuity by rapidly diagnosing and resolving varied technical challenges, thereby transforming technical issues into strategic client opportunities.

• Provide strategic consulting services, collaborating directly with executive and technical client stakeholders to define technology roadmaps aligned with their business objectives.
• Design, deploy, and optimize advanced technical solutions focusing heavily on current Microsoft Platforms (e.g., server infrastructure, cloud services, operating systems).
• Conduct comprehensive system analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend robust optimization strategies across client networks.
• Perform expert-level troubleshooting and remediation of critical infrastructure, including firewalls, VoIP systems, wireless environments, and internet connectivity performance issues.
• Maintain meticulous technical documentation, including solution architecture, project plans, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical incidents, providing mentorship and guidance to internal support teams.

• Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in a Technology Consultant, Systems Engineer, or similar client-facing role, specifically within the Managed Solution Provider (MSP) sector.
• Demonstrated proficiency and recent experience operating independently in external/field environments for solution implementation and advanced troubleshooting.
• In-depth, hands‑on knowledge of modern networking principles, including the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise‑level LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Expertise with Microsoft‑centric platforms, including Windows Server environments, desktop operating systems, and core M365 cloud services.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience combined with industry certifications.
• Exceptional analytical and critical problem‑solving skills, coupled with superior written and verbal communication abilities for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

• Hold active industry certifications relevant to networking (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA Network+) or Microsoft platforms (e.g., MS certifications).
• Prior experience acting in a mentorship or team lead capacity, assisting with the upskilling of junior technical staff.
• Demonstrated ability to concurrently manage multiple small‑to‑mid scale implementation or migration projects.
