As a Server Systems Administrator within Epic's Hosting entity, you will keep our systems up and running in optimal condition so that healthcare organizations can provide excellent care with our software. Responsibilities include developing tools to support operating systems, troubleshooting, debugging code, monitoring system health, creating disaster and contingency plans, and coordinating with hardware vendors.
This role offers opportunities to collaborate with various teams across Epic, focusing on areas like scripting, documentation, development, and technical support, allowing you to grow your skills in high-stakes IT work that impacts healthcare providers.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, and a willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per year. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, willing to relocate to Madison, WI, and available for shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). COVID-19 vaccination is required.
Responsibilities include maintaining system confidentiality, integrity, and availability, following policies, escalating security incidents, and meeting security responsibilities.
