- Plan and execute penetration tests, focusing on web application and cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and support full lifecycle remediation and patch management efforts.
- Manage security solutions across various environments (WAF, EDR, SIEM, DLP, access control systems).
- Configure and maintain web application firewall (WAF) rules and access policies to reduce exposure.
- Design and run static and dynamic security tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor and respond to security events, coordinate with relevant teams on incident containment and investigation.
- Develop and maintain threat models, tabletop exercises, and incident response playbooks.
- Collaborate with engineering and Dev Ops to ensure secure software development and cloud configurations.
- Track industry trends and apply evolving best practices to improve organizational security posture.
- At least 5+ years of experience in offensive/defensive cybersecurity roles.
- Strong knowledge of web application security and vulnerability exploitation techniques.
- Familiarity with static/dynamic analysis, secure coding practices, and application security standards (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Experience with Linux systems, (Burp Suite) and network scanning tools.
- Understanding of security architecture in cloud and SaaS environments.
- Experience working with incident response processes, including detection, investigation, and resolution.
- Strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and ownership-driven approach.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and WAF technologies, including configuration, monitoring, and response.
- Doer mindset that takes initiative and ownership.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST, ISO
27001 or FedRAMP.
- Offensive security certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CEH, BSCP
- Experience with Cloud Computing Platforms and/or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with scripting frameworks, libraries, and tools for developing security scripts using Python, Power Shell, Bash, and Ruby
