Information Technology Operations Engineer

Multi year contract available for an Operations Technology Engineer at a leading company in Detroit!
12 mos+
W2 only, no corp to corp
Hybrid-3 days/week on site in Detroit, 2 days remote
Competitive rate with benefits available
May require travel with occasional overnight stay.
Job DescriptionSoftware familiarity:
- Rockwell Factory Talk View, studio
- Historian/osi historian-REQUIRED
- GE Proficy HMI and Historian
- Aveva Wonderware HMI and historian REQUIRED
- Kepware or other OPC experience
Nice to have:
- IIOT (industrial internet of things)
- MQTT
- Grafana
- NodeRED
- Hardware familiarity
- PLC's specifically Allen Bradley, GE, and Siemens
- Red Lion
- Power meters especially Schneider Electric
- Computer/Networking
- Know how to setup users, change system settings (UAC, windows firewall, power settings, etc)
- Know how to set network adapter settings
- Basic understanding of physical layer switches, firewalls, routers
- Ability to troubleshoot network problems and terminate connections a plus
- Familiarity with process control protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, OPC, DNP3, etc) a plus
