We’re seeking a results-driven Director of Cardiovascular Services to lead and advance its cardiovascular service line. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, clinical quality, financial performance, and strategic growth
, while inspiring teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and community impact.
- Direct and manage the Cardiovascular Service Line at the assigned location
- Provide leadership across operations, personnel, finance, quality improvement, marketing, business development, and strategic planning
- Develop, approve, and oversee policies, procedures, and protocols in alignment with system and regulatory standards
- Ensure development and optimization of departmental workflows and functional processes
- Establish organizational structures and oversee personnel actions including hiring, discipline, performance management, and evaluations
- Identify training needs and ensure staff competency in accordance with Patient Care Services standards
- Develop and manage short- and long-term departmental goals and performance metrics
- Create, monitor, and ensure compliance with approved operating and capital budgets
- Collaborate with executive leadership, physicians, and key stakeholders to drive cardiovascular program growth and quality outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting
- 2+ years of cardiovascular or Cath lab leadership experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex administrative, operational, and human-resource challenges
- Ability to evaluate multiple solutions, anticipate risks, and implement process improvements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of hospital operations, regulatory requirements, and service-line management
- Sound judgment and discretion in decision-making
