Overview
Seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide therapeutic services to diverse clients facing psychological challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, and personality disorders.
Responsibilities- Crisis intervention, risk assessment, intake evaluations, developing treatment plans, and conducting individual, group, and family counseling.
- Monitoring client progress, providing psycho-education, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, while demonstrating cultural competence.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, preparing progress reports, billing, and activity summaries.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Psychiatry.
- Current Michigan licensure.
- At least 2 years of post-master’s experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Contract-based, part-time (20 hours/week), located in Grand Rapids, MI, requiring in-person work and ability to pass a drug screen.
