Sonographer – All About Ultrasound
Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.
Education Qualifications- Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.
- Must be certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date. Those staff assigned to work in the Ashland location are not required to obtain Vascular certification.
- West Market and Brainerd Lakes Locations:
Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months – Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast or Nuchal Translucency. - West:
If North Dakota, must have current license on North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire. - If working in Department MSK Ultrasound – SMDC HOSP, must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months.

Compensation$34.58 – $51.87 per hour.
