Position Description

This is a full-time, remote management position based in Detroit, MI with an expectation of regular on-site travel to support team members. This position provides operational leadership for onsite Program Coordinators while supporting client satisfaction and program success. The role focuses on developing and coaching team members, guiding career growth, and ensuring alignment with the wellness goals and objectives set by the client.

Key responsibilities include driving team performance, setting clear expectations, and aligning daily operations with the client’s strategic well-being priorities. Success in this role requires strong people leadership and a deep understanding of the client’s wellness strategy to deliver measurable impact.

In this role you will
  • Manage a team of Well-being Program Coordinators.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members.
  • Lead and manage a team of onsite Program Coordinators, providing coaching, development, and performance feedback to ensure alignment with client wellness goals and operational excellence.
  • Support client satisfaction by ensuring the delivery of high-quality well-being services that align with client objectives, drive engagement, and contribute to overall program success.
  • Assist team members with material development and coordination of health promotion communications at their locations.
  • Provide ongoing project management for onsite programs, wellness challenges, and promotional events across Stellantis sites.
  • Oversee the delivery of health and wellness programs and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain schedules to ensure successful execution of health education and wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct regular travel to Client locations for in-person meetings, training, team and program support.
  • Build relationships, share insights, and gain buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Offer strategic recommendations to foster and enhance a culture of well-being at assigned sites.
  • Recommend and support location-specific well-being initiatives.
  • Ensure internal operations and the delivery of services are efficient, effective, and aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor program performance and contribute to ongoing strategy development.
  • Ensure team members meet assigned targets for onsite coaching, health assessments, health screenings and promotion of structured educational events.
  • Coordinate connections among diverse client services, encompassing benefits, environmental health and safety, occupational health, medical care, behavioral health/EAP, facilities management, and additional vendor-provided services.
  • Assist with coordination and management of Wellness Champion Committees across assigned sites.
  • Engage and contribute to departmental projects, initiatives, and related responsibilities.
Qualifications, skills and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a health-related discipline required.
  • 5 years of previous health education experience
  • Great presentation skills, especially in communication with stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and facilitate change, within team-centered environment.
