A community engagement program in Detroit is seeking dedicated individuals for the Ameri Corps Community Training for Overdose Rescue (ACT) program. Members will train the community on overdose aid, deliver education about opioid use and distribute rescue kits. This is a 6-month part-time paid service experience offering training and an educational award upon successful completion. Candidates from all backgrounds are welcome, and attendance at school during off-hours is permitted.
