• Provide technical and patient support and care in the Cath Lab.
• Communicate continuously with physicians about patient conditions.
• Assist physicians during invasive and noninvasive procedures.
• Operate all equipment safely and correctly.
• Assess procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all needs of the Cardiac Cath Lab team are met.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
• Authorized presence during medication administration.

• Formal 2‑year radiologic technology training from an AMA‑approved school (ARRT registry eligibility).
• Basic EKG Course.

• BS in Radiology or equivalent.

• 1 year providing Cardiac Cath or radiology care.

• ARRT in computed tomography or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist.
• State license if required.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• ACLS.

• Guaranteed hours for travel contracts.
