Position Summary
The Director of Cardiovascular Services provides strategic and operational leadership for all cardiovascular departments and programs, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and service line growth. The director partners with physicians, clinical teams, and hospital leadership to enhance cardiovascular outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead operations of cardiovascular departments, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow
- Oversee service line quality metrics, patient experience, and clinical outcomes
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand cardiovascular programs
- Collaborate with physicians and senior leadership on service line performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
:
Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or related field- Master’s degree preferred
- Five+ years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting
- Minimum two years of cardiovascular leadership experience required
- Strong operational, financial, and strategic leadership skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical teams
