Job Summary:

The Clinical Psychologist provides comprehensive mental health services to consumers of Central City Health (CCH), including psychological assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention within an integrated care model. This role supports CCH’s mission to deliver trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally responsive behavioral health care. The Clinical Psychologist collaborates closely with primary care providers, psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and community partners to promote whole-person wellness.

While primarily clinical, the position offers opportunities to engage in research, program evaluation, and outcomes measurement in collaboration with CCH’s quality improvement and research teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments.
  • Perform intakes, diagnostic evaluations, and crisis interventions.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain compliance with all licencures, documentation, and ethical standards.
  • Participate in case consultations, supervision, and peer review.
  • Support or co-lead program evaluations.
  • Engage in continuing education, supervision, and quality improvement activities.
Education & Experience:
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.

    D.) in Clinical Psychology.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in Michigan.
  • Doctoral Limited License acceptable with supervision.
  • Demonstrated competence in evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques.
  • Strong understanding of integrated care models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to synthesize complex clinical findings for interdisciplinary audiences.
  • Commitment to data-driven practices.
  • Prior experience in community mental health, FQHC preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
