The Surgical Technician is responsible for aseptic technique, setting up the required equipment, instrumentation and sterile supplies as needed for their assigned cases; scrubbing and passing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures; pulling cases as needed, breaking down cases at the end of the procedure, and setting up the operating room and supplies needed for the day and following day’s schedule.

Available to call on an assigned scheduled basis as required by unit need. Perform other duties as assigned.

Local Contract pay currently $48 an hour. Contract pay can change according to market conditions and this rate is not guaranteed. You must speak with a Recruiter to confirm rates at the time of signing a 13‑week contract.

• BLS and ACLS
• Must have 2 years of Acute Care experience with a minimum of one year current experience as a Surg Tech
• Must be a CERTIFIED Surg Tech

Required:

Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program.
Preferred:
Associate degree.

Required:

1 year of experience in a clinical setting.

Required:

AHA BLS, Surgical Technology Certification.
