A respected healthcare organization in Detroit is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic sonography exams. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented sonographer who values precision, patient care, and working with advanced ultrasound equipment.
Job Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to established protocols, verifies patient information, assesses medical history, and communicates findings to radiologists. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent patient interaction skills, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Registered by ARDMS or ARRT (S)
- BLS (AHA) certification required by end of orientation
- Ability to obtain required specialty ultrasound registry within 12 months
