Senior External Reporting Analyst

A global publicly traded organization is seeking a Senior External Reporting Analyst to join its corporate finance team. This position plays a key role in preparing financial disclosures, supporting SEC reporting requirements, and partnering across the finance organization to ensure accurate external financial communication.

This role could be an excellent first move out of public accounting for a CPA with SEC exposure, or a strong fit for a corporate reporting professional with experience supporting public company filings.

• Assist with the preparation and review of public company filings including Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
• Support the development of financial disclosures and related documentation for external reporting requirements
• Partner with accounting, finance, and investor relations teams to ensure accuracy of externally released financial information
• Contribute to preparation of materials for executive leadership and board-level reporting discussions
• Monitor changes in accounting and reporting requirements and assist with implementation of new disclosure standards
• Participate in the quarterly and annual reporting cycle including coordination with external auditors
• Support ongoing improvements to financial reporting processes and controls
• Assist with SOX-related documentation and compliance initiatives as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–6 years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with SEC reporting or financial statement preparation is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Ability to work cross-functionally within a complex global organization
