Responsibilities- As a Senior Associate - Consultant, support and execute buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, focusing on the CFO agenda and the Finance function.
- Collaborate with client service teams to develop and execute transaction strategies across sectors.
- Develop experience across engagements from pre-deal operational planning to post-deal integration or separation planning, execution, and tracking.
- Project Management and Execution: contribute to project teams, track status and manage risks.
- Business Acumen: operate in a fast-paced environment to drive client value.
- Business Development: assist in pursuits and proposal development.
- Practice Development: support ongoing initiatives to maintain a great team environment.
- Continuous Learning: develop technical and personal skills through learning, coaching and experiences.
- Building Relationships: cultivate strong client relationships and support key decision makers.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics with 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with ~18 months of related work experience.
- Prior experience in consulting, Corporate Finance, or M&A advisory.
- Practical knowledge of and experience in the Finance function.
- Management consulting experience.
- Experience in one or more Finance areas (e.g., accounting, financial reporting, planning and budgeting, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay).
- Knowledge of or experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Cognos or other common systems.
- Experience in financial process benchmarking, operating model design, synergies, TSA.
- Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis with strong presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into insights.
- Knowledge of firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
- Residency or commute requirement to the office location.
- Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary; travel may be required based on client and project needs.
- MBA is preferred.
- Previous experience in an M&A transactions role or large professional services organization.
- Additional 6 to 12 months of industry experience.

What We Offer You- Competitive compensation and benefits; base salary range for this job in all US locations is $130,000 to $185,000, with Total Rewards including medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off.
