Venteon Finance is currently seeking an FP&A Analyst for an industry leading company located in the Oakland County area. This position is responsible for providing financial insights and analytical support related to customer performance, pricing, margins, and profitability. This role serves as a strategic business partner between the Finance team, Sales, and Commercial functions, ensuring data-driven decision-making to maximize profitability and customer value.

Requirements of the Customer FP&A Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred
  • Must have 3–5 years of experience in Customer FP&A work preferably in the Automotive Industry at a Tier 1 or 2 supplier
  • Experience analyzing customer or product-level profitability, financial statements interpretations, PowerPoint to summarize weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong data management and modeling skills;
    Power BI experience preferred

Responsibilities of the Customer FP&A Analyst

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning cycles, focusing on customer-level sales, margins, and profitability.
  • Prepare variance analyses against budget, forecast, and prior periods, highlighting key business drivers.
  • Develop customer-level profitability dashboards and financial models.
  • Analyze customer trends including sales mix, pricing evolution, and contribution margin.
  • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to assess the financial impact of pricing initiatives, discounts, rebates, and customer programs.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, tenders, or renewals from a financial standpoint.
  • Study customer quarterly financials and provide insights on customer risk and opportunity
