Location:
Anywhere in Country. New York or Remote-Seasonal Tax Manager
- Real Estate. EY serves high-profile, national and multinational clients with tax planning, advisory services, and tax accounting support within TARAS (Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services).

Responsibilities- Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions between US GAAP and IFRS, share-based compensation, financial statement restatements, and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts).
- Assist companies with all aspects of the tax provision preparation and review to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the control environment, and assess tax risk and controls (inclusive of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404).
- Support real estate tax accounting and related advisory services as part of TARAS.
- Tax Accounting Projects and Consulting
- Real estate experience is a plus
- Tax Provision Preparation/Review and related processes
- Process and Controls Enhancement
- Key Risks Identification, Prioritization, Monitoring and Remediation
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, supported by significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred
- Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS
- Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation
- Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- ASC 740, Real Estate, and/or IAS 12 experience; corporate tax planning and compliance experience
- Broad exposure to federal income taxation
Strong tax and tax accounting knowledge, ability to collaborate and lead, manage large engagements, and build relationships with clients and colleagues.

- The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $90/hr to $120/hr salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
