Work Schedule:

Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. The Opportunity As part of the Risk Analytics & Finance team within Ally’s Auto Finance Commercial Credit Operations, this position plays a vital role in monitoring the Commercial Automotive portfolio including tracking trends in financial conditions and risk ratings. This is done by building and maintaining data reporting solutions and/or visualizations for both standard deliverables and ad hoc requests. This role is responsible for key portfolio risk reporting and monitoring routines that provide transparency into portfolio performance, emerging trends, and emerging risks.

Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills and can work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment.

The Work Itself

  • Analyze trends in aggregated Commercial Auto portfolio exposures based on multi-dimensional factors including credit risk ratings, product offerings, risk concentrations, and collateral types
  • Prepare and coordinate quarterly Commercial Auto Asset Quality Review meeting materials
  • Develop and track risk appetite metrics as well as participate in annual risk appetite framework review
  • Provide data and analytical support and reports for ad hoc projects, as needed
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve efficiency of existing processes along with integration and migration to new platforms
  • Ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines, communicating issues to stakeholders as needed
  • Maintain or create documentation of key process and controls relevant to areas of responsibility

The Skills You Bring

  • HS diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field highly preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience (data analytics, financial analysis) preferred
  • Experience with preparing reports and presentations for senior-level executives
  • Strong to communication skills with the ability to present to Sr. Leadership preferred
  • Intermediate-to-advanced technical skills with SQL, Excel, Power Point
  • Ability to produce deliverables in an accurate and timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Adept at working and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple initiatives and efforts
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to independently drive results

Nice to Have

  • Automotive dealer financial services experience
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Snowflake platform
  • Experience with Power BI
