Job SummaryWe are seeking a Project Program Manager II to oversee the coordination and completion of projects within our Fulfillment Center Group, ensuring all aspects are managed from deadlines to monitoring progress. The role involves extensive travel and requires a hands‑on approach to troubleshoot robotics systems, with a strong technical aptitude being crucial. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, capable of leading teams, and adept at managing multiple tasks while working towards strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee project coordination and completion, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and summarize project status for upper management.
- Handle troubleshooting of robotics systems or other complex mechanical‑electrical or networked systems.
- Utilize business intelligence and data visualization tools to report on project status.
- Travel extensively (75%-100%) to manage projects on-site, ensuring operational readiness and performance optimization.
- Strong project management background.
- Proven experience in managing stakeholders effectively.
- Technical proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and networked systems; experience with technical drawings and CAD models.
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments, particularly those involving robotics or automated systems, will be highly beneficial for this role. Familiarity with Fulfillment Center operations or similar will be viewed favorably.
- This role is based in Detroit, MI, but candidates from the Metro Detroit area, Austin, Boston, and Seattle areas are also encouraged to apply. A valid US driver's license is required.
