We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support infrastructure and transportation projects through design, technical analysis, and construction oversight. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Utilize engineering software to design, draft, detail, and modify project plans in accordance with company specifications.
- Ensure project compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Review designs for compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
- Clarify and resolve technical and on-site issues.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform construction oversight and on-site observation for infrastructure and transportation projects.
- Prepare reports, construction records, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support for proposals and presentations as needed.
- Assist Project Managers with cost information and project documentation when requested.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited university (required).
- 5+ years of relevant experience (required).
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including:
- Nuclear Density Gauge Certification
- Aggregate, concrete, and density testing certifications (Preference given to candidates with current certifications.)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (preferred).
