Overview
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced BIM Design Engineer to fill an opening with a Construction Company located in Metro Detroit. Must have experience with REVIT; a background in Construction Modeling and Virtual Design is ideal.
Base pay range$90,000.00/yr - $/yr
Requirements- Must have Revit experience in order to qualify for this role.
- 2-5 years of proven proficiency and experience in Revit 2020 required.
- AutoCAD 2020, Navisworks 2020 and Bluebeam 2020 experience a plus.
- Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in Revit preferred.
- Experience in laser scanning of facilities desirable, but not required.
- Knowledge of data entry into Trimble robotics layout station is a plus.
- Perform VDC / BIM Coordination with other internal teams
- 3D Modeling in REVIT with 2D extractions in REVIT to paper.
- Prepare detailed system layouts for power, lighting and control systems including all views and dimensions to support fabrication and installation.
- Work in conjunction with the electrical foreman, project manager, electrical engineer, and other disciplines to create drawings and models for construction coordination and installation.
