Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $73.00/hr

Hybrid role, 3 days downtown (required), 2 days remote;

Preferred: 2+ years' experience in power distribution estimating on large projects.

Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field and the knowledge / capabilities typically acquired through 3 plus years of job relevant experience estimating for large power distribution projects.

InEight estimating knowledge would be a plus.

  • Electrical Engineering degree and/or good understanding of power distribution systems.
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship needed from employer
  • Eligible to be converted into full time employee in the future without sponsorship needed from employer.
  • Must be local.
  • Responsibilities
  • Assists project management teams by developing, monitoring and updating estimates as part of an integrated project plan, so that the project may be executed in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Applies methods and techniques, standards, processes, procedures, guidelines and templates, to efficiently manage, develop, and control project estimates.
  • Assignments are received in the form of results expected, within operating policies and procedures.
  • Decisions may involve changes to normal work processes.
  • Supports project team and estimating personnel efforts toward the development of the project plan and translating the project plan into the project estimate.
  • Develops and provides analysis of project estimates as applicable.
  • Ensures the credibility of the information contained in the estimate and associated cost management plans.
  • Assists with the preparation of project time and/or cost claims.
  • Develops and records project historical estimate information and lessons learned.
  • Applies methodologies, techniques and tools, software, standards and guidelines for estimating, knowledgeable in application of estimating software and application of the software.
