Responsibilities
- Waste management services to customers including determining waste characterization and arranging disposal/recycling of various waste streams
- Recordkeeping of hazardous and other regulated waste
- Preparing shipping documents per DOT and EPA requirements
- Tracking weights of recyclable materials
- Participating with site field operations as needed for obsolete chemicals or abandoned chemicals
- Completing spill reports and other technical writings regarding regulatory requirements
- Interaction with other departments and vendors for the documentation of customers’ waste management
- Bachelor’s degree in natural science, environmental science, or engineering
- 1+ years’ experience in environmental science
- Good driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written/oral)
- Excellent multi‑tasking, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Positive and professional at all times
- Must demonstrate a proactive approach to all tasks
Work primarily in an office setting. Must be physically and mentally able to maintain work in an office setting and may also be required to work around chemicals and other toxic substances. Ability to reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, and lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

- 2 Weeks on January 1 following 2 full years of employment
- 3 Weeks on January 1 following 5 full years of employment
- 4 Weeks on January 1 following 10 full years of employment
- Employer‑paid basic term life insurance and AD&D insurance (each policy equal to 1× annual salary up to $50K)
