Design and implement robust automated control systems with both manual and automatic functionalities.
Develop and integrate Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for intuitive operator control and monitoring.
Establish and maintain Factory Information Systems for real-time operational visibility.
Provide technical expertise in integrating standalone components into unified, centralized control systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and maintenance, to ensure uptime and safety.
Troubleshoot and optimize PLCs
, drives
, instrumentation
, and industrial network infrastructure
.Support commissioning of new equipment and lead capital project control system initiatives.
Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with safety, environmental
, and quality standards
.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
, Automation Engineering
, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial controls and automation.
Proficient with Allen-Bradley Control Logix PLCs
, Power Flex drives
, and HMI platforms such as Panel View
, Wonderware
, or Ignition
.Experience working with SCADA systems
, VMware/Windows Server infrastructure
, and industrial networking.Strong troubleshooting and system integration abilities.
Willingness to work flexible shifts based on project timelines or emergencies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred:
Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance management.
Ability to work across first and third shifts (flexible scheduling).
Understanding of MSHA regulations and federal mining laws.
Knowledge of mining operations
