Project Manager
- Mechanical Construction
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr
We are partnering with a well‑established MEP contractor that is actively growing its Detroit operations and looking to add Project Engineers and Project Managers to support a strong pipeline of commercial and industrial work. This is an opportunity to join a firm known for technical excellence, repeat clients, and long‑term career development—not a churn‑and‑burn environment.
About the WorkProjects typically include:
- Large commercial and industrial facilities
- Healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, and mission‑critical environments
- Complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ground‑up construction and major renovations
- Support PMs with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change tracking
- Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and design partners
- Assist with scheduling, cost tracking, and procurement
- Gain exposure to full lifecycle MEP project delivery
- Lead MEP projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Coordinate closely with field leadership and engineering teams
- Drive project performance, quality, and safety
- Experience in MEP construction (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or integrated trades)
- Project Engineer: 1–4+ years of construction or MEP experience
- Project Manager: 5+ years managing MEP scopes on commercial or industrial projects
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Experience with Detroit‑area projects is a plus, but not required
- Strong backlog and stable pipeline in the Detroit market
