We are looking for a talented Test Technician, I who will be responsible for operating a dynamometer and running tests to gather data on multiple applications to ensure data meets design specifications established by customers.
Main Responsibilities- Set up mechanical, hydraulic, or electric test equipment in accordance with engineering specifications, standards, or test procedures
- Ensure fixtures for the parts, measurements, and pictures are appropriate and validated to ensure function and fit exists
- Monitor machine‑controlled test equipment to ensure the test is performing as expected
- Ensure test results are complete and accurate
- Inspect or test parts to determine the nature or cause of defects or malfunctions
- Document and report all defects or malfunctions so appropriate decisions can be made by customers and engineers
- Document test results using cameras, spreadsheets, documents, or other tools as required
- Prepare test parts including mapping of rotors and brake pads
- Assist other departments as needed for setups and teardowns of various test equipment
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment
- All other related duties as assigned
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job

- Associate of Science in Engineering Technology or a related field preferred
- High school Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an automotive engineering laboratory or equivalent related work experience
- Completed coursework in digital electronics, circuit functions, and basic electronics preferred
