Position SummaryJoin a global engineering team designing and developing advanced fuel injection systems that power modern vehicles. In this role, you’ll take ownership of GDI injector design projects from concept through production readiness - ensuring world‑class performance, durability, and manufacturability. You’ll work cross‑functionally with manufacturing, testing, and application teams to deliver innovative, reliable solutions that set new benchmarks in fuel system technology.
Key Responsibilities- Lead GDI injector design projects from concept through PPAP and production release.
- Manage Design Validation (DV) testing and ensure readiness for manufacturing launch.
- Develop, refine, and correlate spray and flow test methods (Baton, Loccioni, OEM correlation).
- Create and release detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Partner with manufacturing to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and robust product launch.
- Support application engineering for OEM and aftermarket programs without diverting production resources.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for GDI product issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
- 5+ years of experience in fuel injector design, including 2+ years in GDI systems.
- Deep understanding of injector geometry, spray pattern control, and fuel system integration.
