What You Will Do- Support & lead consulting, engineering, and testing projects for clients in the electric mobility ecosystem (Charge Point Operator, Utilities, Platform provider, Hardware manufacturer, automotive OEMs). Exemplary tasks:
- Support clients in development or testing of new hardware components
- Conduct Test Drives / Charging Tests with Electric Vehicles
- Software implementation support of new features / functions
- System integration
- Market analysis & benchmarks
- Business model analysis & strategy consulting
- Rollout Management of Charging Infrastructure
- Data analytics & operational excellence
- Solve new challenges from a technical and economic perspective
- Support business development for new clients and new projects (including discussions with clients and individual solution development)
- Interact and work with the international EV Charging & Energy team at P3
- Work closely together with other P3 North America teams
- Enhance P3 North America's EV Charging offerings
- Work directly with our clients (onsite and/or remote)
- Project Management
- You have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in an engineering or science discipline (preferred electrical)
- You have 2+ years of work experience in the electric mobility ecosystem (preferred Chargepoint operator or Charging Hardware manufacturer)
- You are well familiar with the electric mobility landscape in the USA (Technologies, Software, Major Ecosystem players, etc.) and you are on top of new developments and trends
- You have outstanding technical knowledge of charging technologies and are well familiar with protocols and standards (OCPP, PKI, ISO 15118, DIN, OCPI, …)
- A good understanding of US Energy markets & principals and applicable standards / codes (NEC, Metering law, Building Code, …) is a plus
- You have a project management mind‑set to lead client projects
- You show strong problem‑solving abilities and time management skills to help drive solutions
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- You are self‑motivated and driven with entrepreneurial spirit
- You are willing to travel
- You are legally authorized to work in the US
