Senior Electrical Engineer

Selectek is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the development of design solutions for complex building and infrastructure projects. This role requires a licensed engineer with deep technical expertise in medium‑voltage (MV) and high‑voltage (HV) power distribution systems, strong NEC knowledge, and proven leadership in coordinating across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of design solutions and provide technical support to the design team.
• Prepare schematic designs, construction documents, and specifications in compliance with project requirements and building standards.
• Coordinate designs with other engineering disciplines, manufacturers, and vendors.
• Perform field surveys and site observations to verify design accuracy.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and interdisciplinary coordination of construction documents.

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of work experience in electrical engineering design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with NCEES accreditation.
• Expertise in MV (34.5 kV) power distribution systems; general understanding of HV design.
• Strong background in conductors, conduits, and grounding per NEC requirements.
• Proficiency in load calculations, demand factors, fault current, and voltage drop calculations.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit required.
• Skilled in Arc Flash and Breaker Coordination Analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Mastery of NFPA codes and other model codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to develop practical, efficient solutions.

Pay: $150,000 – $170,000
