Gate Way Community College is now hiring for two exciting Nursing Faculty opportunities in the Medical Surgical & Critical Care! These positions will provide instruction in classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings. The faculty role/s will work with nursing students from diverse backgrounds in the area of acute medical‑surgical or Critical Care nursing concepts and theories across the life span; use traditional, nontraditional, and innovative methods of instruction, including the use of technology;
use effective interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills while teaching in an integrated curriculum; and demonstrate a commitment to student academic success. The primary teaching focus will be in the Maricopa Nursing RN program and may also include teaching in the Practical Nurse, Nursing Assistant, RN to BSN, and/or Continuing Education programs. Participants in person, online, and hybrid course facilitation and alternative clinical activities.
The positions may have varying days, including some evenings and weekends. New Faculty will receive mentorship opportunities within the department and at the college level.
