Our Client is seeking a Early Head Start Teacher in the Detroit area to plan and implement a program of educational activities for infants and toddlers that encourages age appropriate growth and development in a variety of areas.

Compensation is dependent on Contractor's experience, education, availability, and skills.

• Monday - Friday (during school hours)

• Responsible for ensuring that daily activities and interactions reflect the mission and goals of the program
• Evaluate the accomplishments of the children on a regular basis and reports progress
• Assist in ensuring that all health and developmental screenings are up-to-date
• Must be willing to "fill in" where needed.
• Work cooperatively with instructional, support staff and administrative staff.
• Plan assignments and participate in the performance review of the assistant teacher

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education / Child Development or Elementary Education with a ZA (or Early Childhood) endorsement required
• Previous professional experience working with infants and toddlers
• Reliable transportation

• Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies.
• Compensated weekly.
