Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Assistant Professor of Teaching at its Detroit campus location. • Candidates will be expected to teach technical courses in areas of interest at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• The typical teaching load is 4+4, along with the option to teach summer courses. Course teaching load reductions may be available based on publication record.

The preferred teaching areas for this position are:

• Cyber Security
• Information Assurance
• Machine Learning and Programming
• Cloud Computing

Desirable education and experience:

• A Ph.D. in Information Systems, Analytics, Decision Sciences, or a related field from an AACSB‑accredited business school. Candidates with a Master’s degree can be considered for the rank of Instructor.
• Teaching and/or professional experience/certification in Cyber Security and any other above‑mentioned preferred area(s).
• Ability to build and teach courses in multi‑modalities including in‑person; online asynchronous; and online synchronous.
