Essentialfunctions (job duties)
- Candidates will be expected to teach technical courses in areas of interest at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- The typical teaching load is 4+4, along with the option to teach summer courses. Course teaching load reductions may be available based on publication record.
The preferred teaching areas for this position are:
- Cyber Security
- Information Assurance
- Machine Learning and Programming
- Cloud Computing
Desirable education and experience:
- A Ph.D. in Information Systems, Analytics, Decision Sciences, or a related field from an AACSB‑accredited business school. Candidates with a Master’s degree can be considered for the rank of Instructor.
- Teaching and/or professional experience/certification in Cyber Security and any other above‑mentioned preferred area(s).
- Ability to build and teach courses in multi‑modalities including in‑person; online asynchronous; and online synchronous.
