Job Title: Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Radiology-Diagnostic
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist with expertise in Nuclear Medicine to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine procedures, providing critical insights that directly impact patient care. Whether providing overnight coverage or scheduled shifts, the ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, contribute to resident education, and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Required Skills:
- Active medical license in good standing.
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine procedures.
- Strong interpretive skills for a wide variety of imaging modalities.
- Ability to teach and supervise residents effectively.
- Case log documentation and submission as required.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support).
- Must have or be willing to obtain a DEA waiver for nuclear medicine procedures.
- Recent NPDB report (pulled within the last 30 days) required at the time of bid.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Experience with remote interpretation and teleradiology systems.
- Familiarity with ED coverage and overnight shift operations.
- Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques.
- Multilingual abilities to enhance patient and team communication.
- MD or DO degree with completed radiology residency and nuclear medicine fellowship.
- Minimum 3 years of post-training clinical experience.
- Prior experience in emergency and overnight radiology coverage is preferred.
- Availability for 1-3 weeks of ED overnight coverage per month, with a minimum of 7 shifts per month preferred.
- Willingness to provide coverage for specific shifts including overnight (11 p.m.
- 7 a.m. EST) and daytime (12 p.m.
- 8 p.m.). - Must submit case logs and current NPDB report with application.
- Position is remote, requiring a DEA waiver and compliance with all licensing and credentialing standards.
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
