Position Title
Physician – Department of Surgery, Abdominal and Hernia General Surgeon (Open Rank/Track Faculty)
Location and ShiftLocation:
Columbus, Ohio. Shift: First Shift. Position Type:
Regular.
The candidate will take an active role in the Center for Abdominal Core Health caring for patients with simple and complex abdominal wall issues. The candidate will perform a high volume of operations within Ohio State’s Ambulatory/Outpatient Surgery Centers.
Requirements- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Successful completion of a General Surgery Fellowship with focus on Abdominal Wall Surgery
- Academic Experience highly desired
- Eligible for State of Ohio medical licensure
- Qualify for academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
