Children's Hospital of Michigan (CHM) along with University Pediatricians is recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Epileptologist to join our team in Metro Detroit.

The Division of Neurology has 11 pediatric neurologists and we are looking to expand our epilepsy group. Currently we have 4 board certified pediatric epileptologists as well as a clinical neurophysiologist. We perform 20+ surgeries per year and run a neurostimulation (vagus nerve stimulation, VNS and RNS) clinic. Overnight epilepsy monitoring units in both Detroit and Troy locations are monitored by Stratus EEG.

Our comprehensive epilepsy program has earned a Level 4 accreditation from the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) in the last 10 years, the highest level of accreditation for epilepsy care, which recognizes programs with the professional expertise and advanced capabilities to provide the medical and surgical evaluation and treatment for patients with complex epilepsy. We have 6 NIH funded grants related to epilepsy and neurophysiology and there are several opportunities to participate in research and scholarly activities.

• Outpatient and academic responsibilities
• 3 weeks of 5 half‑day clinics and 1 week of EEG studies per month
• An academic appointment at Central Michigan University College of Medicine, with numerous opportunities for research

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology with a fellowship in Epilepsy
• Passion for providing exceptional clinical care
• Interest in teaching medical students/residents/fellows
• Eligible to obtain license in the State of Michigan
