Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide quality treatment to all patients in a professional manner
- Participate in the teaching/training program(s)
- Communicate with administrators, and Physicians to facilitate practice operations
- Participate in team effort to guarantee efficient services to patients
- Conforms to the ethical code of conduct of his/her professional organization, to the Wayne Health Corporate Compliance Program and all standards of the Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, and to clinic policies and procedures
- Maintains a current professional license, professional liability insurance at limits required by Wayne Health Credentialing as applicable
- Attend meetings and training as requested including participation in mandatory annual Wayne Health training in such areas as: recipient rights, confidentiality, corporate compliance, prevention of violence and management of unsafe behaviors, and cultural competence
- Participates in professional development activities and keeps current with healthcare trends and practices
- Obeys confidentiality as required by all federal, state, regulatory and Wayne Health policies
- Perform related duties as assigned
Licensure/Certification , and Training
- Licensed M.D. or D.O. Board certified or Board eligible
- High level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal, necessary to effectively communicate, establish, and maintain productive working relationships with people inside and outside the Department and/or Practice
- Excellent analytical ability necessary to independently identify and resolve extremely complex and unusual problems or discrepancies
- Clinical knowledge to meet the medical requirements relating to various procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patients, personnel and/or financial data
- Excellent organizational skills to work independently, prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and manage time
- Patient management skills necessary to provide quality care
- Compliance with Department Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Hours and days to be determined by the business need of the department. Additional hours may be required
